Potential Mulan Sim
As some of you might know, I posted a short story on my Tumblr page called Stop that Wedding. I had made a female Sim specifically for that short story to use as the bride. As I was taking pictures of her, I felt like she might be a good candidate for the Mulan Sim in this blog. Sometimes I use other Sims I have already made for other things in my main stories to save me some time from having to make Sims from scratch all the time. I thought I would share a picture of her here, since I'm still working on the next Cinderella update.

Wow lol she actually does remind me of Mulan. And idk if you forgot but this blog isn't under your list of stories on your EOE blog...Hopefully you understand what I mean. But yeah I have to click on other stories or your profile to get directed here.

ReplyDeleteWhew, cultural differences can be a little rough sometimes . . .
Being a Chinese myself, I was raised with the whole "don't marry westerners/foreigners" thing as well. I still follow that "guideline", but I'm not forced to do so. It's just my personal preference.
Well, I guess you could say that it has effected me a little, because I am a little bitter(?) about that "rule" when it comes to my very tight, tight family members that I actually care about. Nothing I can really do about it though. :/ Just my personal feelings, I guess.
If it's other Asians though, I don't really care because . . . well, it's not my life.
(That probably sounded a little rough and rude though . . .)
I think that the dad should have separated them a little bit more nicely. It seemed really rough on Kwan's body in general. I feel kinda bad for Rodney too.
PS: This is just a really random thing, but I think that traditional Asian weddings are really interesting and beautiful in general xD

No, I don't mind, I actually preferred it if people commented here or on Wordpress, rather than Tumblr. I check my Blogger stuff way more often than I do Tumblr anyway, so it's not a problem at all. Thank you for coming and commenting on here. ^_^
DeleteOoh, you're Chinese? I'm white, so I was honestly a little scared that a Chinese person would read it and tell me I was being inaccurate, LOL, so I'm glad you found it fun to read. I just went off the "forbidden love" thing, and went with it. XD I'm glad you're not forced to marry certain kinds of people, I think everyone should have a choice of who they love.
Haha, yeah I could have written it nicer, but you know I don't do that. XD
I decided to go as brutal as I could as I was trying to write a story with the whole story line wrapped up in one short story. Having your hair pulled and then being dragged out by your hair is definitely uncomfortable, and her dad really didn't care about her, he just wanted her to be obedient. It was ironic because her dad was telling Rodney that westerners make Asian girls into toys, yet he was treating Kwan like an object that didn't matter. Rodney just wanted to love Kwan, T_T but he was punished for it, and he paid the ultimate price.
Oh, haha, that's cool, I don't know what a traditional Asian wedding looks like. XD
Ooh nice, the YouTube video you linked. Haha, that's so sad the goddess got taken away, but kind of cool they get to see each other again sometimes.
